AFTER MORE than four years of services conducted by visiting locums, the congregation of St. Andrew’s Church in Lisbon is looking forward to the arrival of a permanent minister, the Rev. William Brown Ross.
Rev. Ross is currently minister at St. David’s High Kirk, Dundee, and prior to his theological calling was in a parachute regiment in the RAF. He and his wife Maureen have lived in Germany and South Africa. He is an avid cyclist and, five years ago, cycled from Nazareth to Aquaba.
His induction service will be conducted by Rev. William McCulloch of St. Andrew’s Church, Rome, as Moderator of the Presbytery of Europe, on Sunday, April 23, at 11.30am. A church luncheon will follow and all are welcome.
