Centro Tibetano de Faro
The Centro Tibetano de Faro has announced its spring programme and Reiki, past life therapy, cromotherapy and yoga are just some of the many treatments on offer. The CTF have Tai-Chi classes on Mondays and Thursdays, yoga on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and yoga and meditation on Mondays and Wednesdays. The price for one month of classes is 40 euros, or you can pay 65 euros for a 10-class course, with a 20 per cent discount for anyone aged 25 or under. There are also specific courses available at the centre, including Reiki, Tai-Chi and Buddhism. You will find the Centro Tibetano de Faro at Rua Antero de Quental, 117, Cave. The main activities for January are an Ashtang Yoga Day with Michelle Van Valey from 10.30am, on January 31, and a Reflexology Class with Ulrike Krampen, on January 31 and February 1. February events include a Classic Yoga Class with Bernard Platt on February 7 at 10am, Oriental Dance with Andrea Liane on February 14 and 15 at 10am, and ‘Biodança’ with Kasper Arun on February 28 at 4pm. On March 6 and 7, Mark Wentworth presents journey of the soul for professional therapists. And between March 17 and April 1, the centre is training for yoga teachers.
