GLORIOUS sunshine, last Thursday heralded the arrival of the many competitors and spectators who attended the three-day Spring Festival at St Julian’s School in Carcavelos.
St Julian’s School (the host school), St Dominic’s International School, The German School of Lisbon (DSL), Carlucci American International School of Lisbon (CAISL), Oporto British School (OBS), Vilamoura International School and Colégio Lusa International of Porto (CLIP) all participated in football and basketball matches and the support from the spectators was overwhelming, especially on Saturday when many parents were able to attend.
Results were – Football: (Division 2) 1st DSL, 2nd St Julian’s, 3rd St Dominic’s; (Division 3) 1st St Julian’s, 2nd OBS, 3rd Vilamoura; (Division 4) 1st St Julian’s, 2nd OBS, 3rd CLIP; Basketball: 1st St Dominic’s, 2nd St Julian’s, 3rd CLIP. B.H.
