IN A bitter divorce case, a 43-year-old German man literally split his house in two, using a chainsaw.
He measured out his single-storey summer house and, after splitting it down the middle, took his half away with the assistance of a forklift truck. The skilled mason drove the truck to his brother’s house, where he has since been living. A police spokesman said that the man was just taking his due, but said that the man’s wife was not very happy about it.
