Portinado, the national men’s water polo champions, were beaten 10-5 by Salgueiros in the Portuguese Supercup final. The women’s silverware went to Clube Fluvial Portuense who proved too good for Amadora.
The new regular season begins tomorrow (Saturday) when Portinado open their title defence against CNP at the Portimão municipal pool at 4pm.
