A burglar known as ‘Spiderman’ in Albufeira because of his unusual ability to scale buildings in order tobreak into apartments, struck three times in one day last week.
He found his way into a room in an apart-hotel occupied by two young Dutch tourists and two other apartments where British tourists were staying.
In the first raid, ‘Spiderman’ stole two mobile phones and two Ipods and in the second break-in money and other belongings were taken.
The thief is suspected of numerous crimes in Albufeira in which he climbs outside walls and verandahs in order to gain access to hotel buildings, and is believed to be in possession of a magnetic card to open apartment doors.
