AN ELDERLY woman on her way to a cemetery in Nuremberg, Germany, in her electric wheelchair decided to take a shortcut on the highway.
To make matters worse, she also drove on the wrong side. She was travelling at around six kilometres per hour on a motorway that has a minimum speed limit of 60 kilometres per hour. Motorists spotted the woman and notified authorities, who escorted her to safety. A police spokesperson said she got lost and wanted to avoid taking a big detour.
