A 10-day Portuguese beginner’s course starts next month in the language school in Lagos (Centro de Línguas de Lagos).
This course gives students a solid grounding in Portuguese. The focus is on making sure students have the Portuguese they need to fit into the local culture.
The teacher is Portuguese but explains anything in English when necessary. The course is for a small group (four to eight students) so the teacher can easily focus on the requirements of each student. The course is from April 8 to 19 and includes 30 lessons with three lessons each weekday morning: 10.10am to 1pm.
The school has a new service where private lessons can be at a student’s home or work. There is no extra cost for this in the Lagos district. Two private students studying together only pay for one.
The school is accredited by the Portuguese Ministry of Education.
