The beautiful Castro Marim/Vila Real de Santo António nature reserve will be the setting for a birdwatching event on Sunday, October 2.
It will begin at 8am and focus on spotting birds making their winter migration from Europe to Africa.
Birdwatchers will meet at the RealPão pastry shop in Aldeia Nova and are advised to bring “comfortable clothes and shoes, with discreet colours”.
Price is €3.50 per birdwatcher.
