Portuguese retail group Sonae is holding its 30th Contacto professional apprenticeship programme, giving university graduates the chance of trainee experience within the group.
Until April 10, finalists with a master’s or bachelor’s degree (or recent graduates) can apply by sending CV details to Sonae and answering a question about what it means to ‘Ter Mundo’ (in other words, what it means to have an open mind and a global perspective). The answer can be provided in a text, image, video or “any other creative format”.

Around 80 applicants will then be selected for an assessment day which will take place on April 28.
Sonae says that it has already received 40,000 applications since the programme was launched. Around 4,500 places have been awarded and “several hundred” trainees ended up working in Sonae-owned companies (Continente, Modelo, Worten and Zippy).
