Two boys from opposing backgrounds come together to make a war film that will change their perspective of life while creating a unique friendship.
Set during a long English summer in the early 1980’s the film is shown through the eyes of lead character, Will, the eldest son of a Brethren family. Will has never been allowed to mix with other people and has been sheltered from reality by his community until he meets Lee Carter and sees a pirate copy of Rambo: First Blood.
While shooting a remake of the film the boys discover friendship, faith and popularity in this amusing and moving comedy of self realisation.
