WITH WORLD Book Day coming up on Wednesday, April 23 (also Shakespeare’s Birthday), we have some special treats in store for children.

Each child visiting the Griffin Bookshop on April 23 will receive a FREE ‘World Book Day’ book of their choice. Each short book

has been written especially for World Book Day by a selection of popular authors for children. It’s a great way to introduce your child, or children, to new authors and encourage reading. No FREE books for adults but a glass of wine or two in compensation will be on hand!
