Soldier admits to drug and alcohol-fuelled romp in Military Museum

A 26-year-old soldier has told a Porto Court how he and a colleague entertained two women in Porto’s Military Museum during a night of “togetherness” involving drugs and alcohol.

The young man ended up “going to sleep in a bed with his three friends”, say reports, and “did not open the institution’s doors the following morning”.

The soldier has been charged with “insubordination and not performing his duties”.

According to tabloid Correio da Manhã, the incident took place on February 23, 2017.

There was no inference in CM’s report that the romp involved any kind of sexual activity. The word used, ‘convívio’ translates as a ‘social gathering, friendliness, conviviality’.
