Sócrates strides out

PRIME MINISTER José Sócrates ran in the 17th edition of the EDP Lisbon Half-Marathon last Sunday, with around 38,000 other runners.

Robert Kipchumba from Kenya won the men’s race in one hour and 31 seconds, with fellow Kenyan runner Rita Jeptoo being the first woman to cross the line in one hour, seven minutes and five seconds.
