With his marriage purportedly “hanging by a thread” since a recent drunk-driving incident in UK, soccer legend Wayne Rooney has been trying to save it by buying pregnant wife Coleen “expensive presents”.
“Among recent luxuries”, reports tabloid Correio da Manhã – quoting the Daily Mirror – is a “new home in the Algarve”, a location where she loves taking holidays.
Nonetheless, Coleen – on her 10th holiday this year when her famous husband was arrested behind the wheel of another woman’s car – “doesn’t feel ready to discuss the future”, the Mirror adds.
There are no clues in either paper as to where the Rooney’s new home may be.
In one story it is described as a “luxury pad”, so it may be an apartment rather than a full-blown villa.
But, for now at least, there are no further details.
