So good

CHELSEA LEGEND Peter Osgood suffered a heart attack and died while attending a funeral in London last week. The 59-year-old was very much a star in the George Best mould, supremely gifted yet wayward. Already a Stamford Bridge regular in 1965 at the age of 19, Osgood was kept out of the 66 World Cup squad with a broken leg and seemed to lose some of his edge thereafter, despite going on to lead the Blues to FA Cup glory in 1970. But all too often his love for the good life prevented him to fully develop his undoubted genius.
