CASTRO MARIM is hosting its sixth annual snail festival at the town’s Parque Infantil between May 16 and 18.
During this three day festival, 12 food stalls will serve different varieties of snails, which will be accompanied by bread and butter and plenty of beer.
Pop and folk music will be part of the evening entertainment organised by Castro Marim Câmara, and include bands such as Luna Bastez and the Chave DÓuro orchestra.
Entry to the festival, which starts each day at 7pm is free of charge.
