AN ONLINE slot machine game has been launched in Japan using the faces of the country’s most wanted criminals instead of traditional lemons and cherries.
The Slot Detective, manufactured by Famista Inc, is free to play and the creators hope that it will help catch some of Japan’s most wanted felons by combining entertainment with crime fighting.
Police in Japan have criticised the site claiming it is inappropriate but since its launch last week more than 100,000 people have visited the site with the only complaint being that some of the users had been “scared by the fierce look of the murder suspects”.
