Silves-based Castelo de Sonhos registered charity is selling traditional Portuguese slippers donated by Carol Harvey of Portugal Slippers in a bid to raise money to buy food for families in need this Christmas.
“These are ideal Christmas presents and are easy to post,” says the charity.
Sizes are limited, however, so ordering as soon as possible is advised.
Cost is €25 per pair with the proceeds of all sales going to Castelo de Sonhos.
The charity’s Annual Shoebox Drive for the Elderly is also underway in a bid to provide gifts to elderly in need living in the area.
