Silves Council has announced that the town will host its Christmas fair ‘Alegria do Natal’ (Christmas Joy) between December 6 and January 6.
It will take place at the riverside square Praça Al-Muthamid and will boast a mini Ferris wheel, a carrousel and a train, as well as a Christmas ‘mercadinho’ (market).
The fair will be open from 2pm to 8pm every day except December 24, 25, 26 and 31 and January 1 and 2.
