Renovations cost €40,000
Silves Council has announced the renovation of the stairs and pavement leading to the town’s famous castle on Rua do Castelo near Café Inglês.
The project represented a €40,000 investment and is part of the council’s broader “renovation, conservation and appreciation strategy” for its historical-cultural heritage.
The council says that the “safety and mobility” of pedestrians as well as the “conditions for economy activity” have been improved.
