The fair, which runs until August 20, offers 11 nights filled with Moorish entertainment.

Running until August 20, this year’s Silves Medieval Fair offers 11 nights of entertainment under “The Mosque, Symbol and Power” theme.

Tickets for the event can now either be purchased online or at the usual places (FNAC, Worten, El Corte Inglés, CTT Correios, and Serveasy Kiosks, among others) and on location at the event’s ticket offices between 18:00 and 23:00.

Day tickets, Nights of the East and War Games shows, all-access wristbands and Medieval Experiences tickets are available.

Two daily tournaments, a show inside the Castle, a dozen fixed entertainment points, itinerant entertainment, a medieval tavern food court, fancy dress, an educational and recreational space for young visitors (Xilb dos Pequenos), more than two dozen entertainment groups; a Berber camp with merchants selling exotic products, blacksmiths, carpenters and potters working on their crafts and the usual medieval experiences, are just some of this year’s attractions.
