Silves Câmara has organised a sales fair at the Fissul exhibition centre in Silves on January 31 and February 1.
During the fair, which has been organised in association with businesses in the area, visitors will be able to buy a variety of items at discount prices from furniture to clothing and shoes, as well as fashion accessories, arts and crafts and much more. Silves Câmara said in a statement: “The Câmara has mobilised business owners and is promoting this initiative with the objective of stimulating local commerce and giving consumers an incentive to visit local establishments.”
There will be a variety of entertainment at the two-day event, including a fashion show at 4pm on both days as well as ball room dancing at 10pm on Saturday.
Prizes for the best Christmas shop window display will be presented on Saturday at 5pm, while the winner of the Silves shopping points card initiative, who receives a holiday to Marrakesh, Morocco, will be announced at the same time on the following day. The sales fair will be open from 2pm until 11pm on Saturday, January 31 and from 10am until 9pm on Sunday, February 1.
