YOUNG MUSICIANS from Silves will feature in two concerts being staged in the borough next month, to celebrate International Youth Day (August 12) and Silves City Day (August 26). Both concerts will take place at Fortaleza de Armação de Pêra.
The first concert will be on August 11 at 9pm, and the second on August 26, at the same time. Bands due to perform are: Evolusom, Raspect from Armação de Pêra, Twism, Royalistic, DJ Gijoe and dance group, Be5.
Silves Câmara places a great deal of importance on helping the borough’s young people, and is well-known for promoting many activities to support them. There are many joint projects in sport, education and music, which take place throughout Silves borough and are supported by various council departments and local entities.
