Shopping centres go green

A LEADING leisure company that manages 10 shopping centres throughout Portugal, including Forum Algarve in Faro, has reached an agreement with a recycling company to collect and reuse all its advertising, communication, sales and display materials.

Multi Mall Management Portugal signed an agreement with recycling specialists Bidinâmica last week that will see all its recyclable materials collected, recycled and transformed into a range of green stationery and accessories including notepads, files, purses, CD cases, beach balls and bags.

This partnership with Bidinâmica is one of the measures being taken by Multi Mall Management out of its concern for preserving the environment and represents an important strategy within in its corporate responsibility policy.

The company, whose shopping centres in Portugal welcome around 70 million visitors per year, sees itself as having a key role to play both economically, environmentally and socially.

Bidinâmica was first set up in 2004 and specialises in recycling and transforming advertising and sales materials.
