THE LIONS Clube de Loulé, a charity dedicated to helping the local community, is holding its next fund-raising sale on December 3.
Over the last two years, the club has provided 12 full fire protection suits for Loulé bombeiros. Their chosen cause for next year is to support Existir, whose work in the Loulé area helps disadvantaged people.
The Lion’s fundraising is mainly from sales of nearly new clothes, shoes, linen, bric-a-brac and books. They would like to thank everyone who attended the last sale on October 15, which raised 837 euros. The next sale is on December 3, at the Centro Comunitario in Almancil at 9.30am to noon, with lots of winter clothing at very reasonable prices.
