The first Shoe Outlet, a new concept from Shoe World, opened its doors at the Portimão Retail Park on June 20.
This new store is aimed at offering customers the same products and self service as Shoe World but in a much more compact space. Stuart Watson from Shoe Outlet told the Algarve Resident: “The opening went very well and many clients came in with vouchers to receive a 20 per cent discount on purchases throughout the opening weekend.”
According to Shoe World, the changes in the retail market place, with the development of new shopping centres and retail parks, spurred them to rise to the challenge of creating the concept stores “to enable the company to maximise its expansion potential”.
Shoe World opened its first mega shoe store 11 years ago in Lagoa and has steadily expanded the company, opening further stores in Albufeira, Lagos and Almancil. The new Shoe Outlet is open everyday from 10am until 10pm.
