Jonathon and Catherine met in Lagos almost 10 years ago, and lived and worked in the area until moving to Catherine’s native Australia in 2000. Jonathon saw shade sails on his first day in Australia and instantly saw the potential for the stylish shades in Europe. Eight months later, they returned permanently to Lagos and started laying the groundwork of what was to become OZ Shade.
Asked to explain the reasons behind their success, Jonathon and Catherine stressed their dedication to superior quality and their desire to build a business that puts client satisfaction first and foremost. “It is the nature of what we do that each of our clients buys something unique to them. It is a great reward to see the look on their faces when an installation is complete. We even have clients ringing us on hot days to thank us for the shade!”
