Seven priests under investigation for sexual abuse of minors

The Public Ministry is formally investigating seven priests whose names have been given to the Commission set up to investigate sexual abuse of children within the Catholic Church. The development follows investigations carried out by a practising priest, who then turned his research over to the commission. The commission is due to conclude its inquiry in December, and will then publish a report “in the middle of January”.
