The solution to increasing ‘chaos’ at Setúbal’s pediatric A&E unit has been to shut the whole place down. Lusa reports that the unit has been officially closed from 9am this morning and is only scheduled to reopen on December 12. Meantime, health minister Manuel Pizarro has refuted the descriptions of ‘chaos’ in various urban hospitals, admitting only to ‘difficulties, certainly not chaos’.
