A 32-year-old man suspected of breaking into several houses and stealing property was arrested on Wednesday (November 18) in Moncarapacho, Olhão.
According to a GNR police statement, the man knew the area well and burglaries would be carried out when the residents were out.
Police also seized a laptop, DIY tools and 19 items of jewellery and watches.
The suspect is due to answer for a total of 11 crimes, including of theft and damages.
