Dear Editor,
With reference to the letter from Name Withheld (last week’s edition), I can assure you that stealing the dog has been one of many ideas my neighbour and I have had. It is, however, impossible as the wall round the dog is 2m and neither of us is an alpine climber.
We will, however, keep pursuing ideas to release this dog from its inexcusable and cruel existence. Once we have attained our purpose, you will be informed. Watch this space!
