Sentencing of the four North African passengers who stormed Lisbon runway 10 days ago in a desperate bid to flee their home country of Algeria (click here) has been delayed until Thursday morning at 10.30. A statement from judge Sofia Abreu says the case requires “more careful analysis”. According to Lusa new agency, Abreu may not be opposed to a suspended sentence. The North Africans are appealing for humanitarian asylum.
