A new ‘red letter day’ for seniors today who live in old people’s homes: they are now allowed to be taken out (or go out themselves) for periods of less than 24-hours without the requirement to self-isolate on their return for 14 days. Explain reports, most old people living in homes have now been vaccinated. But the change in policy applies to even those who haven’t been. Even so, a trip outside the home for more than 24-hours still requires self-isolation of 14-days on return (whether the seniors have been vaccinated or not).
