Ride || Alentejo blue skies and warm sunshine was the order of the day for the 29 riders of the Algarve Senior Bikers (ASB) when they visited the beautiful town of Mértola, on the Guadiana River, for lunch.
The ride last week was organised by Stan Green with the assistance of Martin Taylor.
Lunch was at the Restaurant Terra Utópica overlooking the river.
The historic restaurant building dates back to Roman times and was widely acclaimed by many members as one of the best venues the group has visited over the past few years.
Meanwhile, an extra event has been added to the September programme. This will be a ride in the Monchique mountains starting from Silves on Monday, September 1 at 10am.
