Some 30 members of the Algarve Senior Bikers group assembled in Paderne on the morning of October 28 before embarking on a ride that took them up through the hills of Malhão, where they had the chance to practice tight U turns, and provide entertainment for local residents of the village of Santa Margarida.
After a break for refreshments, lead rider Hans Veninga led the group down through the remote hills and south on the IC1, to the finish line in São Marcos da Serra, for a “well earned” lunch at Restaurante O Cruzamento.
The group’s next ride will be on November 23.
