The extinction of borders agency SEF has been confirmed by votes in parliament. The service will now be broken up and divided between PJ, PSP and GNR police forces – with an adjunct to deal with migration and asylum issues, possibly to be called APMA (for agency for migration and asylum) not SEA (service for foreigners and asylum), as originally suggested (click here). The proposed law requires the government to present its diploma for the creation of APMA within the next 30 days.
