Securities market regulator, CMVM, is to press six leading companies of auditors operating in Portugal – including PwC recently in the news for ditching its high-net-worth client Isabel dos Santos in the wake of the Luanda Leaks scandal – for details on their 25 biggest clients.
The objective, explain reports, is to provide the market with greater transparency and increase scrutiny.
Companies approached are PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, BDO and Mazars.
