The Algarve Tourism Board (RTA) has launched a clever Facebook campaign designed to promote the region.
Dubbed ‘Secret Spreaders – Guardiões do Algarve’, it is aimed at hearing people’s ‘favourite reasons’ for visiting the Algarve. Subscribers just have to click onto the RTA website, on www.visitalgarve.pt/segredo by the end of April, and answer a couple of questions.
A video will then be generated and posted on the user’s Facebook profile based on his/her answers.
Videos with the most ‘likes’ will receive special prizes, including weekend stays at luxury hotels.
