Secret Service chief balks at revealing data on Portugal’s IS radicalisations

Following reports by Expresso working with the Sunday Times – highlighting Portuguese radicalised in UK – Portugal’s chief of secret services Adélio Neiva da Cruz has admitted to “various” others who have been radicalised on national soil. But he has refused to give further details, saying only that the situation in Portugal is “not comparable” with other countries, and that numbers leaving for Syria are currently 50% down on last year’s tally.
