Britain’s Ethan Hayter (Ineos Grenadiers) was crowned the winner of the second stage of the Volta ao Algarve yesterday. The 22-year-old put on an impressive display, beating Portugal’s João Rodrigues (W52-FC Porto) to the top of the Fóia peak in Monchique. Jonathan Lastra (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA) rounded out the podium.
