Work on the second phase of Passeio das Dunas, a coastal pathway linking Quarteira’s west coast to Vilamoura, is due to start soon, representing a €2.6 million investment.
Loulé municipality says the project is “vital” in tourism terms and aims to “reduce the distance” between the two localities.
The second phase of Passeio das Dunas will redevelop the pathway from the Crowne Plaza hotel to Vilamoura Marina. There will be leisure spaces, exercise areas and park benches along the way.
