Second ‘mass shooting’ in 24-hours: this time in Cernache, Coimbra

Within a day of the horrific mass shooting in Setúbal, another incident saw three people injured (one seriously) and the alleged shooter hospitalised with a gunshot wound to the jaw. Everything points to the man police believe was responsible for the shootings trying to commit suicide, but failing. He is now in hospital, in a serious condition. Ditto his wife – one of the victims – who suffered a gunshot wound to the head, and two other men who were shot as they tried to escape in their cars.
