Searches resumed this morning for a woman who was seen falling 45 metres from the D. Luís Bridge in Porto last night (October 28). According to RTP, Porto’s Sapadores firefighters have confirmed it was a case of “suicide”.
However, details are still scarce. All that is known is that maritime police, firefighters and civil protection services are trying to find the woman’s body in the Douro River. Eye-witnesses are understood to have seen her plunging from the bridge at 11.11pm last night.
