This morning, searches continue for a 16 year old girl who went missing in the Tejo river, near Abrantes on Friday afternoon. It is believed the youngster ‘got caught’ by a sudden rise in water levels due to the opening of nearby dams.
Saturday also saw the death of a 44-year-old man in Coruche, who had been out drinking with friends, and decided to take a dip in the early hours of the morning.
