Bela Vista Hotel & Spa in Praia da Rocha reopened on March 1 with the launch of the first L’Occitane Spa in Portugal and two conference rooms.
Managed by French group Phoenix Hotel Management Company, the five star hotel, located on a seafront location in the popular tourist resort, reopened after four months of refurbishment works, with renowned Portuguese interior designer Graça Viterbo in charge of the interior decoration project.
The spa includes five treatment rooms, a Jacuzzi for 12 people, sauna, hammam (Turkish bath), fitness lounge and a French cosmetics shop.
A spokesman for Bela Vista Hotel & Spa said: “Clients will be able to take advantage of the L’Occitane spa treatments for body and face following Provencal rituals.”
With the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Congresses, Events) segment in mind, the hotel has also inaugurated two conference rooms, with sea views, able to accommodate 70 and 20 people respectively.
As part of the reopening programme, Chef Rogério Calhau launched a new menu for the hotel’s Vista Restaurant.
