Sea Minister wants to create “national fish farming plan” in next two years

Sea Minister Ana Paula Vitorino said last week that she wants Portugal to have a “national plan for the fish farming sector” in the next two years.

Speaking on board a boat off the Olhão coastline, she said the deadline is “reasonable” and gives the State time to create the plan in order to bring “stability” to the country’s aquaculture workers, and the industry as a whole.
