APAA, the Association for Protection of Animals in the Algarve, has recently announced that Scruffts Dog Show 2005 will be held on Sunday, October 2, at the Fissul Centre in Silves.
This year, in addition to the usual 15 judging groups, there will be an additional class for ‘Best Abandoned Pedigree’. Winners of all crossbreed classes will go into the final prestigious ‘Scruffts Best in Show’ Award. Also running concurrently during the show will be an agility ring for those who would like to see how truly agile the dogs are (and their owners too!). As normal, there will be a selection of trade stands, and food and drink will be available. Entrance for the show will be one euro (children free).
