Scouts and police to ‘control’ All Saints Day remembrance in cemeteries

Scouts and police are being brought in by some boroughs to ‘control’ All Saints Day remembrance in cemeteries on November 1.

Traditionally the day the Portuguese visit family graves, there are reports that cemeteries in certain areas were to be closed, to avoid ‘too many people converging on them at once’.

Bishops have since appealed against this plan, saying unresolved grief “can kill just as much as Covid-19”.
