Vila Real de Santo António Câmara has launched an initiative to encourage students to use second-hand schoolbooks that will still be current for the following school year.
For the purpose, a new schoolbook drop-off and distribution point has been created at the Vicente Campinas Municipal Library.
The initiative, called ‘Dar de Volta’ (To Give Back), represents a saving for families and is environmentally-friendly.
